Las Vegas Aces lose another key bench player to free agency

The Las Vegas Ace's massive sales offseason is only continuing. Alisha Clark is heading for the Seattle storm. ESPN's Ramona Shelbone Reported on Thursday night. Clark has spent the past two seasons with the Las Vegas ace. WNBA 2023 Championship – But he spent the first nine years of his career in Seattle, winning two championships.

What Alisha Clark brings to the Seattle storm

At 37, Clark is one of the oldest players in the league, but she is still one of the most reliable bench players in the WNBA. Last season, she averaged 6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists, shooting 44.3% from the field and 3-37.3%.

Seattle is poised to set up headlines with Skylar Diggins-Smith, Gabby Williams (not yet officially re-signed), Ezi Magbegor, Nneka Ogwumike, Jordan Horston and Li Yueru. Clark brings another veteran presence to the roster of Win Nou, who owns the second pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. She is also someone who can enhance the team's limited three-point shooting.

Clark is not a player she was in Seattle Prime, but she is still very effective in what she is doing and should help the storm stretch the floor for a few minutes.

Ace reportedly replaces Dana Evans when he works to fill up the bench

Clark's departure from Las Vegas created another question mark for the ace who lost several key rotation players this offseason. Already, the team has seen Tiffany Hayes and Kate Martin's departure for the Golden State Valkyries, and Sidney Colson for Indiana Fever. The team also lost All-Star guard Kelsey Plum to the Sparks of Los Angeles and landed Jewel Lloyd (her own All-Star).

But on a Friday morning Annie Costaville of the Chicago Sun Times ACES reported that they were trading their second pick for the second pick for the Chicago sky in exchange for Dana Evans. Last season, Evans averaged 7.2 points and 2.4 assists, playing 19.2 minutes off the bench. However, she wasn't the most efficient scorer, shooting just 36.7% off the field in her five-year WNBA career.

At the moment, the ACES rotation includes Forward Keatanbell, Center Me Gang Stafson, Forward Cheyenne Parker Taius, Rookie Elizabeth Chitley and Center Kiastokes. One of these players could start with A'ja Wilson on the front court. Parker-Tyus needs to provide a big boost in the front court. 6'4Forward was an All-Star in 2023, holding a career average of 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Still, ACES ACES currently has only nine players on signing, but in 2025 there is no first round pick.
