Police were arrested in a recent domestic terrorist attack on the Tesla Clash Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. There, numerous Tesla EV vehicles were completely encased in flames.
Authorities arrested 36-year-old Paul Kim on Wednesday on charges including arson and are in possession of an explosive device. Report Klas 8 News Now.
Kim was accused of carrying out a “target attack” at the Tesla Center last week, which included two damaged vehicles engulfed in two flames. Police also revealed that they believe the person who set the fire was the same individual who fired the gunshot at the car.
The attack urged the FBI to investigate, as reported by Breitbart News, but authorities said the perpetrators had made efforts using Molotov cocktails.
“He used multiple Molotov cocktails and what looked like firearms to attack,” Las Vegas' Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Sheriff Doliconen said at a press conference last week.
Furthermore, the word “resistance” was spray painted on the front door of the Tesla Center.
It remains unclear which clues or leads by the authorities that led to Kim's arrest on Wednesday. The suspect reportedly was paid in court on Thursday afternoon.
In particular, the Las Vegastesla attacks arrived amid many other terrorist attacks against Elon Musk's company nationwide.
On Friday, firefighters were rushing to put out a flare-up fire at Tesla charging station in Fargo, North Dakota.
On the same day as the Las Vegas Molotov cocktail incident, two cyber trucks broke out at a dealership in Kansas City, Missouri, and investigators suspected it was the result of the arson.
The previous week, the arsonist absorbed Teslaev along with gasoline and set it on fire in Seattle's Capitol Hill area. Police said the suspect poured gas into a Tesla Model S sedan and set it on fire before he escaped.
