Latest on Josh Hart’s injury status heading into Celtics showdown

BOSTON – Josh Hart, who recorded his last two games on the DNPS with a knee injury, has been upgraded suspiciously for a Sunday afternoon contest with the Celtics.

OG Anunoby is also suspicious of the foot sprain, but he played Friday night in Cleveland after being listed with the same designation.

Hart was badly overlooked by the Cavaliers' blown loss.

The 29-year-old wasn't with the Cleveland team, but it was probably an upgrade to his status as he joined the Boston Knicks.

This is the first time in Hart's career with the Knicks that he has missed back-to-back games.

Anunoby's position is concerned as it appears to have been awkwardly falling to the court as it appears to have made his legs worse in the third quarter.

He only went through a “misstep” assuring him after the match that he had not been rehearsed.

Mitchell Robinson was once again ruled out as he has continued his long recovery from ankle surgery, as expected.

The center resumed full practice last week, but said he wanted to make sure he was “100% ready” before diving into the game.

“I'm just taking my time. I want to make sure it's 100%, but I'm not trying to keep up with these abs and set-offs, that kind of thing,” Robinson said. said. “This time I'm going to play smartly. Usually I'm young and stupid and try to get back as fast as possible. I can't do anything anymore.”

The Knicks last time they were in Boston back in October – Rookie Pacom Dadiette was a surprising addition to the opening night rotation.

But it didn't last long. Until Game 3, Dadiette, the 25th overall pick in the 2024 draft, recorded his first DNP.

By November he was in the G League and had almost dried up on his occasions with the Knicks outside of garbage time.

Much of this was expected after the Knicks drafted teenagers from Europe.

He has always been a project and was drafted earlier than expected, accepting less contractual money to promote trade in Karl Anthony Towns.

In an interview with the Post, Dadiet explained that he is dealing with differences in the NBA game compared to Europe and learning without adapting.

“I'm trying to concentrate and see what other people are doing, people who have been in the league for about 10 years,” Dadiet said. “Having a routine is very important. I'm watching [Towns and Cam Payne] I do the same thing every day. And it works for them. ”

Does he feel like he belongs now?

“Yeah, of course. I didn't know anything about the NBA games coming here, for example. I'd say that there's more in my head,” Dadiet said. “Like defense, you know a lot more about the American game. Like transition, in Europe, if you have two defenders in front of you, you stop and you look behind you Here you have to be more aggressive and go to the basket.”
