Lauren Daigle Believes in Revival Among Youth
Christian artist Lauren Daigle expressed her belief that God is actively working among young people who are in search of truth in today’s secular society.
She shared her insights ahead of her nomination for Artist of the Year at the 2025 Dove Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. Other nominees include Brandon Lake, CeCe Winans, Forrest Frank, Josiah Queen, and Phil Wickham. The awards ceremony will be broadcast on Fridays at 7:30 PM and 10 PM ET on TBN.
Throughout her career, Daigle has secured 12 Dove Awards, including two for Artist of the Year.
“There’s definitely a revival wave on college campuses,” she pointed out, highlighting an increase in Bible sales among the general public.
“People are looking for the truth,” Daigle mentioned in an interview. “They want the real truth—not ‘my truth,’ but Jesus truth. There’s a world that hurts, and we can offer them the hope of Jesus.”
“I believe great times are ahead.”
Her comments align with the growing “Unite” movement, where students across the country are coming together for evening services and prayers focused on Jesus, gathering in large numbers.
Daigle has seen similar enthusiasm at her own events. Just the night before the Dove Awards, she took part in a worship night where college students filled the space, showcasing their strong faith.
“They were jumping, dancing, just thirsty and hungry for God,” she noted.
Her current single, Let’s make it hallelujah, captures this yearning for God, emphasizing that “every breath” can serve as a moment of worship. The song is currently ranked 17th on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.
“Every moment can be a hallelujah to God. I need that reminder myself,” she shared. “I often think about my missteps or the things I wish I hadn’t said. Even when things go wrong, this song serves as a reminder that we can still lift our praises to the Lord.”
Additionally, Daigle mentioned how her recent prayers and fasting have rekindled her passion for God’s Word.
“Honestly, I’ve felt a renewal in my connection to God’s Word that I’ve needed for years,” she expressed. “It felt like I was 15 again, just talking to God in my room. It was simple and fulfilling. I encourage my fans to stay grounded in their faith and appreciate how rich God’s Word truly is. It is alive.”
“I’m so grateful for its faithfulness. Because it’s a living Word, it can impact us in various ways throughout our lives.”
Daigle will also be releasing limited edition products for her Behold Christmas tour, which kicks off on December 4 in Atlanta.
