Lawmakers Have to Put Americans’ Interests First

Kentucky businessman and potential Senate Republican candidate Nate Morris Saturday Breitbart News Lawmakers have to put American interests first, and the country should not be the police officers of the world.

Vice President JD Vance surprised the world when he said at a security conference in Munich that Europe was obsessed with external threats.

Morris, who may run to replace neoconservatives and retired senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Saturday Breitbart News Matt Boyle says America must focus on solving problems at home.

Speaking of Ukraine's prolonged conflict with Russia, Morris said: “I know from the beginning that this is a ridiculous war. It was a blank check to go. [Ukrainian leader Volodymyr] Zelensky and his companions. ”

“It's disgusting to me that people are on either side of the aisle praying at Zelensky's altar,” he continued.

“We have to put American interest first,” he said.

“It's not our job to be a police officer in the world. We were the first to take care of our people,” Morris said.

In early February, Morris further harmonizes with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who supports a non-interventionist foreign policy, compared to McConnell, who has provided heavily funding Ukraine's war with Russia. He said he is doing so.

“I'm extremely proud of the work Senator Paul is doing on Kentucky's behalf,” Morris said at the time. “He will never forget people. He will never forget the Constitution. And when he ran to support him here in Kentucky, I was one of the first people in his presidential election. I was extremely proud that it was.

Morris also attacked open border policies here in the United States, saying cheap workers often benefit large businesses.

He also welcomed President Donald Trump's use of tariffs to benefit the American people.

He asked rhetorically, “Why not dial up so much leverage to the economy around the world to get the best deals in America?”

“Businessmen understand leverage,” Morris added.
