Lawyer Pleads Guilty To Spiking Pregnant Wife’s Drink With Abortion Drug: REPORT

Mason Herring, a 39-year-old Houston-based lawyer, admitted Wednesday that he put an abortion-inducing drug in his pregnant wife’s drink in 2022, multiple media reported.

Herring repeatedly tried to get his wife to take abortion pills and encouraged her to drink water that he deemed “cloudy” or “dirty.” according to To law and crime.His wife fell ill shortly after drinking the drink, and she gave birth to the couple’s third child, Josephine, 10 weeks early, ABC13 News. report.

Herring pleaded guilty to injuring a child and assaulting a pregnant woman in exchange for a sentence of 180 days in prison and 10 years suspended for law and crime. “I don’t think 180 days is justice after trying to kill my own child seven times. For two years, my husband has been in excessive denial of this assault, but today he is finally admitting his guilt. I’m grateful for that,” Mason’s estranged wife, Katherine Herring, said, the newspaper reported. Duchess Kate added that her husband had financially isolated her and their three children.

ABC News reported that Catherine said she had videos and text messages proving that Mason poured abortion-inducing powder into her water and tried to poison her multiple times. Tests were also conducted at a private laboratory and reportedly confirmed the presence of abortion pills in the water.
