LeBron James was the ultimate basketball dad Wednesday night. When he returned to the locker room after leading the Mavs to a 127-110 victory, he was fully focused on the USC game, especially watching his son Bronny play.
Reporters tried their best to ask LeBron questions, but LeBron was preoccupied.
It's clear how emotional LeBron got watching Bronny play. Literally, in that moment, nothing else mattered to him. Sure, he answered some questions about Anthony Davis' burgeoning performance and gave some insight into the Lakers' run that decided the game. But he was more worried about yelling at Bronny to shoot and getting irritated by his son's shots. A USC teammate missed an opportunity to pass the ball to his son for a wide open shot.
When the dust settled, Bronny James had a very good game against a tough opponent in Arizona. He had 11 points, six assists, and five rebounds. We'll have to wait to find out what his father thought of his performance, though.
