LeBron James whines about Lakers’ preseason trip to Milwaukee

LeBron James doesn't seem too thrilled about having to travel to Milwaukee for “one preseason game.”

The Lakers superstar posted on social media Wednesday about his impromptu trip to Wisconsin for an exhibition game against the Bucks, and seemed frustrated at the prospect of going that far.

“Can someone please explain to me why we're on this thing?” [plane emoji] Then we head to Milwaukee for one preseason game!?!?” James wrote about X.

Los Angeles is in a bit of a nomadic state thanks to ongoing renovations at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers have six preseason games scheduled this year, all of which will be played away from their home arena.

The first two preseason games were played in Palm Desert, Calif., about a two-hour bus ride from the team's practice facility in El Segundo.

After facing Milwaukee, the Lakers will play Golden State in Las Vegas and the Suns in Phoenix before heading to San Francisco to face the Warriors again.

ESPN reported The Lakers are reportedly heading to Milwaukee to play the Bucks to keep their end of the deal alive as part of a pre-arranged home-and-home preseason series with the Bucks.

Last year, the Bucks traveled to Hollywood to play the Lakers in the preseason.

Head coach JJ Redick said the preseason road schedule was “not ideal” for the Lakers.

The Lakers open the regular season at home against the Timberwolves on October 22nd.

James and his son Bronny became the first father-son duo to play in a preseason game earlier this month and are preparing to play together for the first time in a regular season game.
