LeBron James Talks Marriage and Commitment
LeBron James recently shared insights about his marriage with Savannah James, emphasizing how dedicated he is to making it work.
During a recent episode of the podcast “Everybody’s Crazy,” which is hosted by Savannah along with April McDaniel, the 21-time NBA All-Star discussed relationships with guests Travis Bennett and streamers Fanum and Kai Senato. James, at 40, expressed his willingness to go to great lengths to preserve his marriage.
With Savannah beside him, he stated, “You have to protect whatever is yours.” He added that he never wants to feel alone again, reflecting on his past as an only child. “I remember thinking, ‘This is crazy. I love this. Being alone is not for me,’” he said lightheartedly, hinting at the challenges he faced.
James has been open about his journey in relationships. He acknowledged that marriage has its ups and downs, stating that it’s “not always going to be a bed of roses.” If both partners are willing to face difficulties together, he believes it can be worth it.
He also offered some candid advice based on what he has heard from teammates, warning about difficult dynamics in relationships. “I’ve heard stories that make you think twice,” he mentioned, reflecting on the challenges others face in their romantic lives.
As he prepares for his 23rd NBA season, speculation about his future in basketball continues. Although at 40, he’s approaching the later stages of his career, he hasn’t indicated when he plans to retire. Currently, he’s dealing with sciatica pain, which will keep him from the season’s beginning.
