Winston Churchill once said, “History will be kind to me, because I intend to write it.” It is time for Republicans to wake up and realize that silence on the issue of abortion is not worth its weight in gold. Republicans need to tell their story, spread the truth, and as Churchill said, “write history.”
So far, Republicans have remained silent in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.. This silence has led to devastating defeats in recent elections, including the 2022 midterm elections, and has allowed Democrats to write their own version of history and promote a narrative that Republicans are abortion extremists and hold views that are counter to those of the Republican Party. 63% Ten percent of Americans believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases.
