Leeds chair confirms Daniel Farke will remain as manager in the Premier League, stating, “He is my man.”

Leeds chair Parag Malace has addressed the speculation surrounding manager Daniel Fark, confirming that he will stay on as manager at Elland Road for the upcoming Premier League season.

Fark successfully guided Leeds to the championship title, achieving promotion back to the top flight in his second season. Yet, there had been rumors suggesting that the 48-year-old might be let go.

Malace stated, “I’m not the type to respond to random gossip. I won’t comment on rumors. But today’s the day,” during an interview with BBC Radio. “I wanted to wait until the season wrapped up. I was aiming to celebrate, much like Daniel and the staff did.”

He continued, “My plan was always to speak right after the season, and, well, I’m here now. I’m really looking forward to working with Daniel.”

Malace acknowledged the challenges ahead: “I don’t think it’ll be easy. Three teams that were promoted have struggled in the last two seasons, but we’ll see.”

When asked if his comments would quell the speculation about Fark’s future, he affirmed, “Speculation is over. He’s my man. I’m genuinely excited to be partnering with Daniel.”

Marathe oversaw the acquisition of 49ers Enterprises in July 2023 involving Leeds. Fark’s first season ended heartbreakingly with a playoff defeat to Southampton at Wembley. However, achieving promotion saw Leeds secure a 6-0 victory against Stoke in April, and a late winner against Plymouth helped them clinch the top spot in the championship.
