The Statue of Liberty should be sent back to France as the United States no longer represents the value of freedom.
Socialist and Democrat group Rafael Gluxman told the cheering convention of his place about how disappointed he is with America and why it should not be maintained what was originally a gift from France.
Give us the Statue of Liberty.
We are going to tell Americans who fired their researchers to demand scientific freedom from tyrants and their ally. “Please return the Statue of Liberty.
We gave it to you as a gift, but apparently you're lightly spooning it. So it's fine at home here.
The Statue of Liberty was announced at the port of New York City on October 28, 1886.
Designed by Frenchman Auguste Bartholdy, it has since become a symbol of freedom and the United States itself.
France 24 Note Paris has much smaller copies of the statue on a small island on the Seine River in Paris.

Glucksmann has previously attacked changes in US policy since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.
He was also aiming to cut Trump to US research institutions.
“The second thing to say to Americans is, “If you want to fire the best researchers, then you want to fire all those who have made your country a major force in the world through their sense of freedom and innovation, their doubt and their preference for research,” added Glucksmann.
