Former President Donald Trump has called for unity in the wake of the assassination attempt on him, but the left does not appear to be listening.
One such leftist, a streamer named Destiny, made that clear during a recent appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”
Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” was also on the panel and was visibly upset by Destiny’s comments about the former president and his supporters.
“As a liberal, how many times have I been forced to go on a show and disavow all of the BLM riots and violence, and then when I talk to a conservative about January 6th, they say, ‘That was a false flag operation,'” Destiny mocked the panelists.
“Conservatives deserve absolutely no sympathy for anything that happens as a result of their words or actions,” he added.
“I’m not sure what he’s talking about, but I would say he comes across as someone whose brain has been wrecked by the internet and who has as a result lost most of his empathy for his fellow man,” Rubin replied.
“So a good, upstanding father was killed because of this. Shot through the brain trying to protect his wife and daughter. I hope people can have some empathy,” he added.
But Destiny doesn’t seem to have any sympathy for the death of beloved husband and father, Corey Comperatore, who was shot at the rally.
“Fuck that guy, fuck that firefighter guy, fuck Trump and everyone who supports him. If you’re confused just know this,” Destiny said in the clip, which Piers showed on a recent stream.
“If any of you are in the crowd and you’re a conservative fan of mine and you’re shocked or it ends up in any way, I will make fun of you on Twitter the next day. I will, 100%,” he added.
Piers called the video “disgusting,” a sentiment Rubin agreed with.
“Disgusting is the right word,” he said, adding, “It’s really incomprehensible that a man who died as a man, who died protecting his daughter and his wife, should have no empathy whatsoever.”
