People across the US are undoubtedly tired of the virus infiltrating every aspect of their daily lives, but they’re not alone in feeling that way.
“It’s not just individuals waking up now. Big corporations, which have been the main drivers of this whole waking nonsense thing, are waking up too,” explains Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report.
One such company is Microsoft, which just laid off its entire DEI team.
Team leaders reportedly sent emails explaining that DEI efforts were no longer necessary. Zoom also fired its DEI team earlier this year, while Google and Meta (Facebook) cut DEI following 2020 pledges.
Last year, CNBC reported that the number of DEI-related job postings in mid-2023 was down 44% compared to the same period in 2022. By November 2023, the number of job postings was down 23%.
Farm machinery maker John Deere has also joined the trend, saying it will no longer sponsor “social or cultural awareness” events. In a statement posted to X, the company said it will also audit all training materials “to ensure they are free of socially motivated messages.”
“Do you understand how big a deal this is?” Rubin asks. “When you think about DEI and these woke programs and recruiting engineers and hiring technologists based on skin color, that Instead of putting genitals in your mouth that Putting genitals in your mouth is never good for business.”
