The Ball family has always been keen on business in the hardwood forest, and the middle child on the basketball team is now setting his sights on the music industry.
LiAngelo Ball, 26, has signed a contract with Def Jam and Universal Music Group. ESPN reported.
Ball's label, Born 2 Ball Music Group, released the song “Tweaker” on January 4, which went viral and racked up nearly 8 million views on YouTube.
Ball's contract is worth up to $13 million, with $8 million guaranteed.
Ball will retain full ownership and control of his music and record label, the report adds.
Just on YouTubeBall's video equates to up to $26,000 in revenue in the first nine days of the video's existence.
The Ball brothers, LaMelo, Lonzo and LiAngelo, have experience in the music industry.
