Former President Donald Trump may have narrowly survived an assassination attempt, but the mainstream media was quick to condemn him.
“‘Donald Trump Did a Thing for the Environment,’ Say George Stephanopoulos and This Ugly Martha Raddatz” Mark Levin “They will be hanging on to every word that comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth, looking for something to latch onto,” he said.
And that’s exactly what they did.
“As you point out, President Trump and his supporters are also complicit in this violent rhetoric,” Stephanopoulos told his co-hosts the day after the assassination attempt.
“In January, Trump warned that if the criminal charges against him were successful, there would be chaos in the country. And then, of course, in March he said, ‘If I don’t win the election right now, it will be a national disaster. It will be a national disaster, at the very least,'” Raddatz added, without mentioning that Trump was discussing the auto industry.
It would not be surprising to see Democrats do exactly what they did on January 6th, despite President Trump’s explicit calls for his supporters to be peaceful.
“Trump explicitly told them ‘yes’ but to protest peacefully. They always cut it because it undermined their point,” Levin said, noting that the number of times Trump has been called Hitler because of this is off the charts.
President Trump also proposed sending 10,000 armed National Guard troops to guard the Capitol on January 6th, but Democrats rejected the idea.
“They continue to try to lie and poke holes in their propaganda about January 6th and Donald Trump’s so-called role,” Levin said.
“And even when Biden gave his pathetic speech in which he said that even though he is the leader, he will not apologize or take responsibility, among the examples given was not one about the Islamist and Marxist violence in the streets over the past 10 months,” he continues.
“The Democratic Party has a very violent history, going back to slavery and the Confederacy. He’s the leader of the Democratic Party. They could have put a stop to this a long time ago,” he added.
