Maverick City Music is a hugely popular Christian band, but that hasn't stopped them from collaborating with rappers like Glorilla who claim to be Christian.
GloRilla's album “Glorious” was released on October 11th and features overly vulgar songs and additional collaborations with rappers such as Megan Thee Stallion and Sexyy Red.
The rapper's real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, and she is known as “Glorilla Pimp” on social media. She also claimed that she still values her faith, even though her music does not convey that message.
“That's sad because God clearly gifted her and she had the great privilege of growing up in a Christian home and going to church. I don't have parents to teach me about God's word.” allie beth stuckey the “Relatable” actress said before reading the lyrics of her new album.
“Look, you ain’t gotta know what you’re getting into, shit/ Me and my guys are going to get ugly/ Make a fuss about this party/ We’re gonna step on the shit no matter what/ Catch my thugs.” Swipe that motherfucker and contest the charges now,” Stuckey reads from her song “Hollon.”
In another collaboration with Sexy Red, the lyrics are so raunchy that Stuckey can't even repeat them, instead stating, “Two private parts I can't tell you.”
“She says it over and over again in Sexyy Red,” she says. “I think it’s important for people to understand what I’m saying about how crazy it is that Christian is on this album.”
“Some of you are saying, 'Don't be judgmental. They're just trying to work together and maybe bring her and her listeners closer to God.' And I hope the Lord will.” Masu. I really think so. But I mean, what does light have to do with darkness? “I don't know if actual collaboration is the way to evangelize her and her listeners,” she added.
