Lindsey Vonn Enjoys Austrian Ski Getaway
Renowned American skier Lindsey Vonn was recently spotted enjoying a snowy retreat in Austria, as shown in a recent Instagram clip.
Currently preparing for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, Vonn took a moment to relax in a private heated pool during her stay at The Wiesergut, a boutique hotel nestled in the Austrian Alps at Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
The Olympic gold medalist, celebrated for her SI swimsuit features in 2010, 2016, and 2019, looked stunning in a bold black bikini for her post.
Vonn, 41, expressed her gratitude towards the hotel with a red heart emoji and hands in prayer.
Having won 82 World Cup races and being the 2010 Olympic downhill champion, Vonn made a comeback late last year, aiming to compete in her fifth Winter Olympics.
Recently, she was named among 232 U.S. athletes on the roster for the upcoming Milan Cortina Games.
After undergoing partial knee replacement surgery in April 2024, Vonn plans to compete in three events: downhill, super-G, and combined team events.
The Winter Games are scheduled to take place from February 6th to 22nd, with some competitions beginning as early as February 4th.
This past week, Vonn participated in the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Women’s Downhill training in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
She achieved a second-place finish in the Super G event on January 18 in Tarvisio, Italy, and secured victory in the women’s downhill at the World Cup in Sauchensee, Austria on January 10.
Last March, Vonn claimed second place in the super-G at the World Cup finals in Sun Valley, Idaho, setting a record as the oldest woman to podium at the World Cup level at age 40.
She finished just 1.29 seconds behind first-place finisher Lara Gut-Behrami, who also clinched the super-G season title.
