Lip readers say President-elect Donald Trump appeared to thank New York City Mayor Eric Adams as he passed him at a UFC event at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
After reviewing footage of the encounter, certified lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman told the Daily Mail that the pair appeared to be having a warm and intimate conversation while shaking hands.
Freeman said Trump said to the mayor, “Oh, Eric…” before Adams' head covered his face.
He kept telling Hizzoner: Thank you so much for everything…” before he cuts off again at a clip.
The moment came days after Adams publicly congratulated President Trump on his election victory and then called him privately.
