Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska denounced President Donald Trump's sweeping pardons for 1,500 defendants convicted of crimes related to the Jan. 6 protests at the Capitol.

Murkowski has been highly critical of President Trump's J6 pardon, but declined to discuss the pardon issued by former President Joe Biden just hours before Trump took office.
