LIV Golf: The colossal amount of money Jon Rahm, players won in 2024

Welcome to Playing Through's daily ritual, Golf Talk Today.

Each day, the crew will discuss a different element of the PGA Tour, LPGA, LIV Golf and more.

Today we take a look at how much LIV Golf's 58 players will earn for the 2024 season. They closed out the year last weekend with a team championship event in Dallas, won by Cam Smith at The Ripper GC.

The week before, Jon Rahm won the individual title in Chicago during the Saudi Arabia-backed league's first season. The win earned Rahm an $18 million bonus. In second place were Joaquin Niemann, who received a $12 million bonus, and Sergio Garcia, who received a $4 million bonus.

Of the 58 players in the league, 54 have taken home at least $1 million in tournament winnings — not signing bonuses, but winnings from golf tournaments.
