President Trump said Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to start negotiations soon, along with plans to meet in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelensky met with Vice President Vance on Friday, and then praised Trump's resolve to end a nearly three-year war in Eastern Europe.
Zelensky will be taking part in NBC's “Meet the Press” to discuss Ukrainian demands during negotiations and explain in detail at a future meeting in Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, on Thursday, the House Budget Committee passed a budget resolution after a long meeting on Thursday night. This was approved on the party line 21-16 vote and is now set to be considered by the complete chamber. Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Mont.) will be appearing on News Nation's “The Hill Sunday” and will talk about House budget negotiations and latest developments on a potential peace deal for the Russia-Flaine War.
