Livvy Dunne shares heartbreaking injury news ahead of LSU senior night

Livvy Dunne is heartbroken.

The popular influencer and the Tigers fifth-year senior announced on Thursday night that he will miss out on the senior night against No. 10 Georgia on Friday due to a knee injury.

“Hello friends! Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a detached patella fracture, but I can't compete in senior nights,” Dan wrote in his Instagram story.

“It absolutely breaks my heart to not get the chance to compete in PMAC one last time. Tiger fans, you were so good to me! Thanks to endless support and Geaux Tigers as always! – liv.”

New Jersey native Dan helped LSU win his first gymnastics national championship last season and returned for qualifications for the final year of this year.

She last competed with Auburn on January 24th, Limited to four events this season. Friday marks her sixth straight absence.

No. 2 LSU will finish the regular season next week on a road with Auburn, taking part in the SEC Championship and NCAA Championship.

LSU coach Jay Clark He praised his senior class. It's ahead of the tournament with the Bulldogs.

“We have a variety of seniors this year, but in a way that went far beyond gymnastics, it really meant the trajectory of the program,” Clark told the team's website. “I am grateful to all the seniors each year because I have left a mark that I personally can't forget.”

Dan is dealing with this injury, but she is still busy leaving the gym.

She recently served as the crew general of the Endymion Parade in New Orleans before Mardi Gras, recording scenes of 5.3 million Instagram followers.
