Spencer Pratt’s Mayoral Campaign Video Goes Viral

Spencer Pratt, the former reality television star who lost his home in the recent Palisades fire, has gained attention with his new mayoral campaign advertisement that criticizes the leadership in Los Angeles. Liz Wheeler, known for her skepticism about celebrities venturing into politics, finds Pratt’s approach somewhat refreshing.

“Honestly, I usually don’t support celebrities who, after their prime, turn to politics out of boredom. That’s just not my style,” Wheeler shared. However, she thinks that Pratt might stand out from the crowd, revealing her thoughts just before showcasing his campaign video, which he filmed quickly and on a shoestring budget. It’s caught millions of views on social media platform X.

The ad kicks off with Pratt standing in front of the mayor’s mansion. “This is where Mayor Bass lives. Notice anything?” he asks, before cutting to images of a homeless encampment, emphasizing the disconnection of city leaders from the issues around them.

While discussing his situation, Pratt explains his new living arrangements post-fire. “This is my current home. They had my house burned down. I know firsthand what poor leadership leads to. That’s why I’m running for mayor. It’s for my sons and for all Angelenos who wish to stop corrupt politicians from ruining our city,” he declares. “We’re going to return Los Angeles to its golden age.”

Wheeler emphasizes how the video has resonated beyond just local audiences. “It’s becoming evident to everyone across the country that a city like Los Angeles, filled with crime and despair, is not merely an accident. These are choices made by politicians to exert control,” she stated, adding that Democrats will do anything to prevent Pratt from gaining ground because it would expose their failures.

She encourages support for Pratt, suggesting that even those outside Los Angeles can contribute to his campaign efforts.
