Large-Scale Increase in PAC-3 Production

The United States is taking significant steps to boost the production of the PAC-3® Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE), recognized as one of the leading air and missile defense systems.

This new seven-year initiative aims to more than triple the output of the PAC-3 MSE, providing the U.S. military and its allies with enhanced capabilities to navigate modern combat scenarios.

This move clearly indicates the U.S. intention to proactively address emerging threats rather than simply responding to them.

Rapid Expansion

In the past two years, production of the PAC-3 has already risen by over 60%. Notably, in 2025, there was a 20% increase compared to the previous year.

This recent agreement marks the first under the Department of the Army’s Acquisition Transformation Strategy and significantly accelerates production goals. It strengthens the Army’s layered air and missile defense capabilities, ensuring that allies have reliable access to effective defense solutions.

Investment in Local Manufacturing

Lockheed Martin plans to allocate billions over the next three years to enhance and modernize more than 20 facilities in states like Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas. This will involve upgrading existing structures and integrating modern manufacturing technologies to meet rising production demands.

By maintaining operations domestically, Lockheed Martin continues to invest in the U.S. communities contributing to national strength. This production expansion is expected to create thousands of jobs across the country.
