Los Angeles Woman Clings to Speeding Car with Her Stolen French Bulldog Inside

A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a shocking viral video showing the owner of a stolen French bulldog clinging to the bonnet of a car as the driver flees with her beloved dog.

The kidnapping took place on January 18th in downtown Los Angeles. Ali Zacharias was shopping at a Whole Foods store when a group of people in a white Kia Forte apparently tried to take away her expensive pet.

The bulldog Onyx was allegedly snatched by Sadie Slater, and LAPD was finally able to make an arrest Saturday after she allegedly grabbed the pet and jumped into a car with four other passengers.

Zacharias Said of daily mail When Slater allegedly tried to pick her up and leave, she said she initially thought it was just a misunderstanding.

She eventually realized her pet had been stolen and tried to stop it from starting by standing in front of the getaway car.

“At this point the car began to move away and she ended up falling onto the hood,” the newspaper reported.

Video recorded by a witness shows the Kia speeding through the intersection, with Zacharias holding on weakly, before finally being thrown off several blocks later.

Fortunately, she was not seriously injured.

Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jader Chavez said the video was “very shocking…but also extremely helpful in identifying the vehicle, license plate, and occupants.”

Mr Zacharias said he “screamed with joy” when he heard Mr Slater had been arrested, but was now “awaiting further news that Mr Onyx was safe and in custody”.

“I love this dog. I miss this dog. I can’t wait to see his face. I can’t wait to meet him. He wiggles sideways when he sees me. . He will be very happy. I can’t wait to meet him,” she said. daily mail.

French Bulldog puppies often sell for more than $1,000 and are one of the most stolen breeds.

As the Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate, Zacharias offers a large reward for Onyx’s return.

“They took my child from me. I just pray that I can get him back,” said the heartbroken dog owner.
