Lululemon’s new PGA Tour ambassador Min Woo Lee lookin’ good at American Express

Min Woo Lee is a rising star in professional golf. This week marks his first PGA Tour start of the year and his debut on American Express. With Aussie and Lululemon partnering up, he'll be making another discovery.

Speaking ahead of American Express, Lee explained how enthusiastic he is about partnering with the athletic apparel giant.

“I'm excited to partner with Lululemon to bring my fun and freshness to the game and lead the way for a new generation of golfers,” he said in a press release. “Community is an important part of keeping me positive and happy, and I look forward to working with brands that share the same values.”

His clothing sponsorship with ImagineCre, a luxury sports brand based in Coren, was coming to an end. Lee noticed the brand was growing in the golf space and reached out to his manager.Many things about the company, which he described as “cool, stylish and fun,” piqued his interest. his interests.

“I get to be a part of the design process, which is great,” Lee said. “I still think of myself as just a kid from Perth who just plays golf. So it was really cool to come to Vancouver last week and talk to the design team and everyone there. ”

Lee has become something of a style icon since turning professional in 2019. From his mullet and mustache to his mock-neck polo shirt, he's not afraid to push the limits.

Last year, Lee played in 14 events on the PGA Tour. He finished in the top 10 four times and in the top 25 five times. Also last year he won four times in international competitions, including his two at the SJM Macau Open and the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship.

Lee lives by a simple motto: look good, feel good and play well. As he finished his interview ahead of this week's tournament, he dropped the microphone to the media.

“I'm going to look good, and if I don't play well, at least I'm going to look good.”

2024 looks to be the year the Tour's clothing sponsor changes, and this is the latest golf fashion move.

Jason Day and Tiger Woods both left Nike earlier this month. Justin Rose and Bonobo Golf also appear to have parted ways.

These examples are just some of the fashions made this year. Lee joined the trend and made a big splash by choosing to rock Lululemon.
