The suspect who killed at least one teacher and one student at Abundant Life Christian School was a 17-year-old girl, the Associated Press reported.
Associated Press quoted Their sources say they are “law enforcement officials.”
CNN reported“According to law enforcement officials, the shooter was a woman, who is also deceased.”
Breitbart News reported that police received a call about the shooting just before 11 a.m.
Madison Police Chief Sean Burns said officers responded and found the suspected shooter to be deceased. He noted that the officers did not fire any shots.
Two innocent people died and many others were taken to the hospital with injuries. FOX News reported that the gunman used a 9mm handgun.
A summary has been posted on the school's social media pages statement: “We're asking for prayers! There was a mass shooting at ALCS today. We're following up. We'll share as much information as we can.”
