Higby mentioned that this incident illustrates his objective of addressing political hostility directly and fostering open discussions through a “fearless tour,” which is inspired by the late founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk.
His intention is to shed light on violence from the left and advocate for peaceful political conversations.
According to Higby, he was engaged in conversation with other nearby protesters when the woman approached him aggressively. He recounted issuing her four warnings before stepping back.
At that point, she lunged at him, grabbing his hat and forcefully pushing him from his seat to the ground.
The situation prompted Park police to arrive after the woman moved to a light pole while other protesters called for help.
Higby shared a detailed account of the events in a subsequent YouTube video.

Initially, there were no arrests. However, around the 6:44 mark, the woman became unruly with the police, who ultimately detained her.
“At this point, she was resisting the federal police as they attempted to arrest her,” Higby told Fox Digital. “Her father was yelling at us, asking, ‘Why did you spray my daughter?’ while she was fighting back aggressively. I felt responsible for her reaction.”
The identity of the woman has not been confirmed by the U.S. Parks Police, nor have any charges been disclosed.
Higby, who began making commentary videos as a teenager, has attracted millions of viewers. He has collaborated with PragerU and worked as a reporter for Turning Point USA.
Previously, he faced a violent attack in June by three men during an anti-ICE rally in Seattle.
During that attack, which involved pepper spray, Higby experienced a concussion and other troubling symptoms that required medical attention.
“I’ve always considered carrying defensive tools,” he remarked.
