“And we said, ‘Well, he can’t do what he did last time, stay in the basement because there was a pandemic.’ Yes, he can,” Maher continued. “No one cares about it. We talk about it in our chatty classes. And the public is like, what do I care about?! I don’t want to see this all the time anyway! I hate it.” “You have to see him every day. Pac correspondent Tara Palmeri fired back at Maher, saying he needs to do “more interviews”, “more press conferences” and “actually face the press”.

“Why not?” Palmeri asked.

Palmeri went on to say that the longer Biden is out of the public eye, the more the “right-wing media ecosystem” will expose the president to a hidden state controlled by “faceless bureaucrats on a leash.” He argued that this could continue to create the perception that they are “zombies.”
“I think it’s better to say you’re a zombie than to look like a zombie,” Maher said, before moving on.
