"Make Everything Public": Steve Bannon Cautions That Epstein Files Matter 'Will Not Disappear'

Steve Bannon Calls for Release of Epstein Documents

On Thursday, former White House adviser Steve Bannon requested that all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities be made public. Epstein, infamous for his heinous acts, is now deceased.

Reports indicate that a recent two-page memo from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI concluded that Epstein did not leave behind a so-called “client list,” which many have questioned. Bannon, through his platform, urged the DOJ either to file for the release of Epstein’s evidence in court or to appoint a special prosecutor to handle the matter.

Bannon expressed his belief that the DOJ would need to take legal action to secure whatever sealed evidence exists. He emphasized the importance of compiling all available material and disseminating it to the public. “Or maybe what I suggested yesterday would work better, appointing a special prosecutor to look into this, especially concerning the 2020 election and beyond,” he added.

He argued that if the DOJ and FBI are unable to act, special oversight should be created to investigate these matters and ensure transparency. “It sounds straightforward—step up, go to court, and petition for the release of all evidence,” he stated. Bannon remarked that while the DOJ has previously justified releasing information related to child pornography cases, a structured approach could help in addressing more complicated issues like this one.

He proposed establishing a five-member committee, led by Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, to review and edit the information before its release, suggesting that this could help navigate the sensitive nature of the content.

Bannon also hinted at deeper connections between Epstein and various agencies, mentioning “deep state” associations. On another note, Tucker Carlson, a co-founder of a prominent media outlet, accused the DOJ under Pam Bondi of concealing key information about Epstein’s crimes, speculating that this may be to protect U.S. and Israeli intelligence interests.

Epstein was arrested in 2019 on sex trafficking charges but tragically died in his jail cell in New York. Officials have stated that he committed suicide by hanging. However, many supporters of Trump have contested the conclusions drawn in the memo regarding the handling of Epstein’s death and the DOJ’s involvement.
