An Oklahoma man who was already facing criminal charges for auto theft was unable to get a ride to court for a hearing and is now in jail on suspicion of stealing an emergency truck.
According to the State of Oklahoma, Cody Adams was at a Stillwater gas station asking people to give him a ride to Pawnee County for a court appearance where he was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. He reportedly jumped on an online ambulance. Highway Patrol.

The insensitive carjacker drove 30 minutes to the courthouse in a pedestrian truck, abandoned the car, and was arrested when he walked into the courthouse.
“First responders knew where the vehicle was,” Officer Preston Cox said. Coco News.
According to authorities, Adams was arrested after admitting that he simply “borrowed” the truck.
He was taken to his original court and later charged with new theft charges.
Adams is being held at the Payne County Jail.
