A woman was arrested on Friday after a manhunt related to a fatal incident in the Hamptons, which involved a reality TV star.
The suspect has been named as 32-year-old Amanda Kempton from Virginia. She is accused of leaving the scene of a tragic car accident. Reports from New York Post suggest this.
The local police in Southampton indicated that this matter is classified as a Class D felony, which could result in a prison term of four years for the suspect.
Kempton allegedly struck 40-year-old Sara Black, who police discovered on Montauk Highway near a restaurant in Hampton Bays on Thursday morning.

“Officers were called to a road near Villa Paul Restaurant. Black was seriously injured and transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she subsequently passed away,” the report indicated.
Burack, a featured real estate agent on reality television, was known for her role in the Netflix series “Million Dollar Beach House.” A clip from the show was shared by the outlet.
According to the article, “After graduating from Franklin and Marshall College and working as an account manager and sales assistant, Burack began her real estate career, as per her LinkedIn profile.”
“Eventually, she joined Nest Seekers, a luxury real estate brokerage, where she focused on leasing, buying, and selling properties in the Tri-State area.”
The suspect was expected to be arrested on Saturday, but investigators were still examining the scene of the hit-and-run.
Paulette Corsair, a friend of Burack and also a real estate agent, expressed that Burack was a compassionate individual.
“She was an industrious real estate agent who always supported others. She was deeply loved by her friends and family,” Corsair remarked.
