A man has been arrested in Los Angeles in connection with the shooting of San Francisco 49ers player Keion White. This incident occurred in February following a dispute at a San Francisco nightclub involving rapper Lil Baby, as reported by police officials to the California Post.
The suspect, Gregory Walker, was apprehended around 5:30 a.m. in Hollywood, according to the LAPD.
Walker, aged 35, faces a felony charge related to assault with a deadly weapon, specifically a semiautomatic rifle, according to LAPD officials.
Authorities located Walker thanks to tips from the Gang and Narcotics Division after they learned he was in Los Angeles. His jail records indicate he stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds, and he is being held without bail.
The shooting allegedly took place on February 8, right after the Super Bowl in San Francisco. White had hosted a party for the game at Dahlia’s Lounge in the Mission District and reportedly got into an argument with Lil Baby after the rapper was denied entry to the venue.
During the altercation, a witness sought assistance from a manager and reported hearing two gunshots. Upon returning, the witness found White had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
Interestingly, when police arrived at the nightclub, they allegedly saw topless women cleaning up dollar bills scattered on the floor.
In a statement at the time, the 49ers referred to White as “a victim of a shooting” and noted he had suffered a bullet wound to his ankle.
White, who was a second-round draft pick in 2023, joined the 49ers through a trade with the New England Patriots in 2025. Although he required surgery due to his injuries, he has made a complete recovery and has participated in all four of the 49ers’ games so far this season, recording two sacks and six tackles.
