Man dies after shark bite while fishing with family off Queensland coast | Australia news

A man was bitten by a shark and died while fishing with his family.

Emergency services were called to reports of a man being attacked on Humpy Island in the Keppel Bay Islands National Park, about 18 kilometers off the central Queensland coast, on Saturday.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said the 40-year-old man was bitten by a shark while fishing with his family off the coast of the Keppel Islands at around 4.30pm. said.
