On Saturday morning, a man was stabbed six times by a group of attackers following a dispute inside a Harlem bodega. After the assault, he managed to run across the street but ultimately collapsed and died, according to police sources.
The victim, aged 33, was at the bodega located on 8th Avenue near Frederick Douglass Boulevard at around 5:30 AM. Amidst a gathering of four to six individuals, an altercation broke out.
According to police, the injured man fled the scene toward the corner of West 141st Street, where he collapsed from his injuries.
Emergency Medical Services quickly transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, but unfortunately, he could not be saved. As of now, no arrests have been made, and details surrounding the nature of the argument remain unclear.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released by the authorities.
