Snowstorm Feud Escalates in Queens

I really don’t like snow!

This week, during a snowstorm, a man from Queens was filmed burying his neighbor’s car under a huge pile of snow, bringing an ongoing dispute to a head.

Paula Macias mentioned that the problems started on Sunday night when she and her husband were clearing their Nissan Rogue of the accumulating snow, which reached nearly 20 inches in Central Park.

At that time, their Belgian shepherd was barking, and a neighbor responded by throwing snow at their vehicle, as reported.

The couple asked a man who was shoveling snow from a nearby driveway to stop dumping snow onto their car, but he responded by telling them to “shut up.”

The following morning, Macias and her husband discovered that their red SUV had been entirely covered with snow, which took them more than two hours to excavate.

Some neighbors reported seeing and recording the man shoveling snow onto their car early Monday morning.

Feeling frustrated, Macias shared a video of the incident, which quickly went viral, amassing almost 450,000 views across various platforms.

One commenter referred to the peculiar behavior as “blizzard rage.”

Macias, who has lived in the neighborhood for over 16 years, said she has disliked this neighbor, and even felt this way about her dog since he moved in.

“To me, this is vandalism and harassment,” she told PIX11, claiming it was a deliberate act fueled by animosity.

Meanwhile, the neighbor who buried the car admitted to the act but insisted it was blown out of proportion, claiming it was just a minor disagreement.

There had been previous issues between the neighbors, with complaints about Macias’ dogs and various other conflicts surfacing since last summer.

Macias mentioned that she has been trying to communicate with the neighbor civilly, but describes him as “rude and abusive,” constantly yelling and cursing at them.
