Aurora Homeowner Injured in Shooting Incident
A homeowner in Aurora, Colorado, was hospitalized with serious injuries following a shooting incident on Monday morning.
According to reports, the event took place before 5 a.m. The homeowner had been alerted to the suspect’s presence by newly installed surveillance cameras.
When the homeowners went to check a separate garage, they confronted individuals they believed were trespassers. This led to a confrontation in which the homeowner fired shots at one of the suspects.
The suspect sustained life-threatening injuries and remained in the hospital Monday night.
Local law enforcement stated that they do not anticipate taking legal action against the homeowner.
The intruder reportedly attempted to force entry through the front door when the homeowner responded by firing multiple shots.
