The 38-year-old commuter died stabbed on the New York City subway on Friday, and had a dispute with a shoe-wearing person.
The NYPD discovered that the victim was not responding to multiple stab wounds on the torso after receiving a call about the incident, a spokesperson told the daily caller in a statement.
The victim was taken to hospital and later declared he died. “There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing,” the spokesman said. “The identity of the deceased has been withheld appropriate family notice.”
The incident and police investigation have led to a change in the schedule of NYCT subway trains. “The Southbound 4/5 train bypasses Brooklyn Bridge City Hall, and NYPD will conduct an investigation at that station. The train then stopped at that station. They claim that the perpetrator is a man in his 20s or 30s wearing black clothes and black headphones, Associated Press (AP) It has been reported. She also claimed that there were no murders on the subway in the first three months of 2025, the Associated Press reported. This showed that the transport system was murder-free for the first time in seven years.
