An emergency warning was issued at Illinois State University as campus police are searching for suspects who “discharged firearms” near or on campus.
The school warned that there were “reported victims.”
“Get off the bones,” the alert urged.
Police said a manhunt is ongoing for the suspect. The suspect is said to be “a thin black man 5’10”, with a black afro hairstyle and wearing an all-black.”

Officials say he saw him last “running south from the streets of colleges and colleges.”
On Sunday evening, an emergency warning from ISU was sent out and people were urged to take “precautions” after being fired at the student centre.

Officials are urging officers to work to clear the area, “away from university and Locust Avenue, away from the Bone Student Center, and away from the Bone Student Center.”

The emergency warning said the suspects “could be armed and dangerous” and there was a “potential immediate threat.”
