Allegations Against Marcellus Wiley
The spouse of former NFL player Marcellus Wiley claims in a recent court document that he subjected her to repeated abuse and rape throughout their marriage.
Wiley was taken into custody in Orange County, Florida, on July 4, but specifics regarding the arrest were not disclosed at the time. Currently, Annemarie, Wiley’s wife, has made serious allegations, as reported by various sources.
Annemarie, who appears on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” reportedly contacted law enforcement during a heated dispute with Wiley that occurred in an Orlando hotel room. Following this incident, she sought a restraining order against him.
In her filing in Los Angeles, Annemarie described a pattern of escalating violence: “Marcellus has subjected me to continuous and escalating physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation, much of which our children have also witnessed.”
She also alleged that Wiley raped her in 2012 when she was too intoxicated to resist. “During that same period, he threw a food tray at my head with such force that it dented a wall. Also, around that time, Marcellus crawled into bed with two of my friends in the basement of my house in the middle of the night and attempted to have sex with them,” she stated.
Annemarie further accused Wiley of punching her in the face and blackening her eye during a confrontation in Las Vegas in 2014. While pregnant in 2019, she claimed he threw a soda bottle at her, and in 2025, he reportedly broke her thumb in front of their children.
She expressed significant fear: “Marcellus has subjected me to constant criticism, cruel and sarcastic comments, and threats. His verbal and emotional abuse is relentless, and the physical abuse happens approximately once a month, sometimes more.” Annemarie mentioned that she worries for her and her children’s safety.
Alongside her divorce filing, she requested an order of protection.
Wiley’s arrest on July 4 came after Annemarie alleged that he punched her and threatened to take her life.
Despite the accusations, the former athlete insists he is innocent. Following his release, he expressed gratitude to supporters on social media, asserting that “the truth will prevail.”
“I am deeply thankful for your love, prayers, and concern for me and my young children. I genuinely appreciate your support,” he stated on July 6. “I completely and unequivocally deny these allegations and am confident that the truth will prevail.”
Wiley emphasized his commitment to distinguishing fact from fiction, noting that due to the legal implications, he must approach the situation differently. “Once I am free to speak, I absolutely will. Until then, I thank you all for your patience, prayers, and support.”
