The 2024 Men’s NCAA Tournament is shaping up to be an intense one, with games getting even tighter and more heated as the remaining 16 teams compete for the trophy. The Dance followed No. 6 seed Clemson, which defeated No. 2 seed Arizona in a thriller. After the Crimson Tide upset No. 1 seed North Carolina in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night, the Tigers will now face No. 4 seed Alabama. This match may be the best match of the tournament so far.

This will be Clemson’s first appearance in the Elite Eight since 1980. The Alabama men’s basketball team has not reached the regional finals since 2004.

On the other side of the bracket is an incredible showdown between the No. 1 overall seeds. university university and Illinois, the No. 3 seed in the Elite Eight. The Huskies defeated San Diego State in the Sweet 16 on Thursday in a rematch of the 2023 national championship. The Illini were able to defeat No. 2 seed Iowa State.
