Mariah Carey sued over Christmas classic
Criminal lawyer David Bruno and attorney Andrew Stoltman appeared on “Fox News @ Night” to discuss Mariah Carey's $20 million lawsuit from musician Andy Stone for copyright infringement of her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
According to Alison's friends, Mariah Carey hadn't met her sister for decades before her death.
According to People magazine, David Baker, a friend of Carey's sister for nine years, claimed that Allison hadn't seen Carey since 1994 or 2002.
In her 2020 memoir, Carrie wrote that she was “safer emotionally and physically” without contact with her sister and brother.
“Allison was a highly intelligent, very sensitive person,” Baker told the outlet.

Carrie's mother, Patricia, and her husband, Allison, passed away on August 24th.
“I am heartbroken after losing my mother this past weekend,” Carey revealed to People magazine. “Sadly, and tragically, my sister also passed away on the same day.
“I am blessed to have been able to spend my mother's final week with me before she passed away,” Carey added. “I thank everyone for their love, support and for respecting our privacy during this difficult time.”
“Allison was extremely intelligent and very sensitive.”
Carey did not provide further details about either death.
A representative for Carey did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Baker met Allison in 2015 after she suffered a brain injury during a home invasion.
“When I saw someone in need, I knew I could do it,” he told People magazine. “She told me how glad she was that I was there for her.”
“More recently, before my mum got sick, if I'd go somewhere for an hour, she'd call and say, 'When are you coming back?' and I'd say, 'I'll be there in 20 minutes,'” he recalled. “Then she'd call again and say, 'When are you coming back?' because her short-term memory had been affected by the brain injury.”

Allison's relationship with her mother was not great: Carrie's estranged sister sued their mother in 2020, alleging that Allison was forced to be sexually abused by multiple men at a Satanic cult when she was 10 years old.
In the complaint, obtained by Fox News Digital, Allison accuses Patricia of allowing and encouraging an undisclosed number of men to engage in sexual acts, including indecent assault, and of having them witness sexual acts with adults and children.
She also claimed it happened at a “late-night Satanic gathering involving ritual sacrifice.”
