Mark Hamill Forces Himself to Apologize After Saying He Hoped Trump Would Die

Mark Hamill, known for his role in Star Wars, seems to have lost touch with basic humanity and has been caught in a glaring falsehood.

Recently, shortly after a brief relationship with former President Barack Obama, Hamill posted a photo of the late President Trump on his Blue Sky account, captioned “If only.”

The date inscribed on Trump’s tombstone is 2024, suggesting he would pass away before a significant re-election in that year. It’s not too far-fetched to think that Hamill was, perhaps, hoping an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania that summer would be successful.

It’s troubling when politics cloud our judgment to such extremes, distorting our perspective.

It’s no surprise that Democrats overlooked Hamill’s provocative remarks while the far-left media tried to downplay the situation, but ultimately, he deleted the post.

On Thursday, he issued an apology, albeit in a somewhat misleading manner. He claimed in a post: “Accurate edit for clarity: He should live long enough to take responsibility for his… crimes.” His apology, suggesting he didn’t actually want Trump to die, felt insincere.

Hamill’s original sentiment was quite clear. He expressed frustration that Trump was still alive, essentially wishing harm upon him.

It’s like saying, “I wish Mark Hamill had passed away before taking on questionable roles.” He seems to have lost a part of himself, wishing death upon a sitting president. Now that Trump is still around, Hamill faces the consequences of his choices—whether to be remembered as a traitor to his craft who wished ill upon others.

What does it mean to let politics consume your identity, leading you to envision the demise of those you oppose?

It’s a pitiful existence. I can’t quite empathize with those who allow political figures to invade their emotional landscape. Sure, I can understand how someone might feel betrayed by an ex, but mature individuals usually find a way to move forward. They recognize the folly of permitting others to dictate their feelings.

Trump’s been a divisive presence in the political arena for years now, yet Hamill still behaves like a scorned ex-partner, fixated on past grievances.

What a sad state of affairs for him.
