Despite the fact that sports commentator Stephen A. Smith has historically been a Democrat, he is still a friend of Mark Levin.
“He's not radical. He's not a leftist. I know him. He's my friend,” says Levin. Smith approached him 20 years ago and spoke about the fascinating way he told him how much he loved his radio show.
They oppose certain issues, but Levin appreciates Smith's efforts to explain to the Democrats, the “unreal party” – why he loses support from all demographics.
Levin played a recent clip of Smith's conversation with “The View's” Joy Behar, in the meantime tastefully dismantling the radical left-wing anti-Trump story.

“So Trump has only been in office for six weeks. It looks like six years. And he was circling with his peers promoting the so-called landslide and blow-off victory, but he won the popularity vote at 1.5%, one of the smallest ever, and won the general election by under 50%. Behar has begun.
“It's an obligation, and I'm going to explain why. And I don't mind the question, but let me be very clear. I'm not a Trump supporter. I'm a supporter of truth and facts, and the facts are here. The man has gained all swing states. He has increased in terms of his voter turnout and his favor in terms of black, Latino and young voters. He has increased his number in that respect since 2020. 89% of the county moved to the right. Smith corrected and pointed out that in the last election Republicans won the popularity vote for the first time in 20 years.
“I don't know how people can see it and say there's no obligation,” he repeated.
“Do you think these groups – black voters, Latino voters, and the other groups you mentioned, are going to regret it soon?” Behar retorted.
“Maybe. I don't like what you see from Trump… But after all, it's this: Americans, in their eyes, it wasn't about him. They voted against what the Democrats were throwing in their direction,” Smith said.
Levin says he doesn't necessarily agree with Smith's final point – Americans voted for Trump, primarily because they couldn't fall behind the Democratic agenda.
“I think people voted for Trump, but of course they also voted against Democrats because they're crazy bastards,” he says.
