Mark Levin and Charlie Kirk’s Views on Israel
Mark Levin first became aware of Charlie Kirk when Turning Point USA, a nonprofit he leads, was focused on promoting principles like free markets and limited governmental intervention at universities. Levin admires Kirk’s work, describing him as a “very brave gentleman,” though he admits they don’t see eye to eye on all issues.
However, they firmly agree on one crucial point: the necessity of supporting Israel. Kirk has always been a staunch advocate for the nation, as Levin points out, saying, “His mind is in the right place, and his brain is in the right place.”
During one of Kirk’s recent public debates, he notably challenged pro-Palestinian activists in a way that left Levin quite impressed. Kirk posed thought-provoking questions about Jesus’s life and heritage, which his opponent struggled to answer.
“What religion was Jesus? What did he believe?” Kirk asked. When his adversary confirmed Jesus was Jewish, Kirk followed up with, “Where was Jesus born?” To which the opponent seemed dismissive, responding, “Why is that important?”
Kirk explained, “Born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth, and he walked on the waters of Capernaum. Which country are they now?” Interestingly, his opponent faltered, asking again, “What is that important?”
“That’s important. Do you know why? Because when I went to Israel, I connected with a living God who walked on the water,” Kirk continued. He reminisced about his journey to Israel, where he felt the Bible come to life, weeping at the sites associated with Jesus’s life, like where he was betrayed and subsequently resurrected.
“Every day, there’s this demonic, demonic agenda attempting to outlaw the Bible. But I keep the holy ground alive, enabling me to see where my Lord and Savior lived,” he emphasizes.
Levin felt compelled to honor Kirk. He echoed Kirk’s sentiments about Israel, stating, “When I go to Israel, I’ll visit the burial site of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I’ll see where the tribes of Israel gathered to form the Jewish faith.”
He also acknowledged the Palestinian claims, noting, “They say it’s our country.” If you’re interested in more of Levin’s insights or want to check out footage of Kirk’s defiant defense of Israel, make sure to look at the clip mentioned earlier.
