Mark Ruffalo’s Fiery Rant Against Trump at NYC Event
At a recent event in New York City, actor Mark Ruffalo expressed his frustrations in an intense rant aimed at President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. He claimed that they were attempting to prevent Democrats from regaining control as midterm elections approached.
Speaking at the “Hands Off Our Vote” gathering, Ruffalo voiced concern over what he perceived as Republican efforts to “steal” the elections. “We have to get this fool out of office, make him a lame duck! We can’t let his policies continue,” he emphasized, pointing out that another two years of Trump could lead to severe consequences.
Ruffalo declared forcefully, “And he means it! We’re all exhausted, but giving up is not an option. They’re going to try to stop us, but we won’t let them. Trump, keep your hands off our vote!”
In a moment infused with his acting persona, he warned, “I’m going to Hulk out. You won’t like me when I’m angry,” after a supportive audience member encouraged him. He reiterated, “Hey, I’m still here!” referring to his ongoing role as the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He called for unity and courage, stressing that now is the time for action. “They want to keep us complacent and make us feel powerless, but we can’t allow that. The truth will prevail,” he insisted.
Responses from the RNC and the White House
The Republican National Committee responded to Ruffalo’s comments, suggesting that he was detached from reality. “Mark Ruffalo is clearly stuck in La La Land,” said Ally Triolo of the RNC, highlighting the popularity of voter ID measures.
The White House added its critique, with a spokesperson labeling Ruffalo a “no-talent loser” who has humiliated himself by spreading falsehoods and hate, pointing to what they called his “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Recently, Ruffalo has been vocal against the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros., stating that it could stifle creativity and negatively impact jobs. He described the outcome of the merger as “incredibly disappointing” and a setback for those who opposed it.
In his view, this fight encapsulates a broader struggle against powerful interests prioritize profits over the well-being of everyday people. He vowed that this grassroots movement wouldn’t fade, emphasizing that their collective resolve remains strong.
