It looks like Marvin Harrison Jr. might get exactly what he wanted next month.

The Ohio State phenom is by far the top wide receiver in this NFL draft class, and without a stacked quarterback class, he could easily be the No. 1 overall pick.

However, the first three will likely be QBs, with the Bears, Commanders, and Patriots picking No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, respectively.

The fourth pick goes to the Arizona Cardinals, who have already taken Kyler Murray. And they could actually use some outside help.

This puts them in the best position to take Biletnikov’s reigning winner and unanimous All-American champion. Unless, of course, someone trades up, but it’s hard to imagine any of the top three teams risking that.

Well, one of Harrison’s former teammates considers him a future teammate as well.

Cardinals offensive lineman Paris Johnsen Jr. played with Harrison with the Buckeyes and predicted Harrison would become a Cardinal after moving on from DeAndre Hopkins.

“The moment I got drafted, I literally went up to Marvin and said, ‘Hey, you know you’re a Cardinal, right?'” Johnson said. “Cardinals Corner”. “I knew he was going to be a Cardinal because I saw what happened with D-Hop.” [DeAndre Hopkins]. I think the Cardinals would probably want another 6-4 receiver. ”

What was Harrison’s reaction when Johnson said that?

“He said he wanted to be a cardinal.”

In two seasons (25 games) as the Buckeyes’ starter, Harrison had 139 receptions for 2,356 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Arizona is 4-13 in back-to-back seasons. Murray missed the second half of 2022 and the first half of 2023 due to a torn ACL.
