Mary Kate Cornett police report reveals more details of viral scandal

Mary Kate Cornett raced her home after learning that Ole Miss students were at the heart of viral rumours that the couple had been sleeping with their father. Get by TMZ.

The 18-year-old Cornet started trending online this week. Her name and image are also circulated, along with her boyfriend Evan Solis, for the false story.

In a police report, Cornett says she was at a salon in Oxford when she first learned of the rumors, and says she is a victim of cyberstalking and harassment.

Mary Kate's parents, Leslie and Justin Cornett, flew from Houston to Mississippi to stay with their daughter.

“We felt absolutely helpless,” Justin told TMZ, emphasizing that he wanted to keep his 18-year-old daughter safe during difficult times for his family.

Leslie added that Mary Kate was treated online “as if she wasn't human.”

“Reliable, all criminal charges and civil relief will be sought fiercely,” she said.

She claimed that partially and fully edited screenshots, fake AI-generated videos and manipulation photos were promoted by irresponsible social media participants and amplified by thousands of fake accounts.

Barstool employee KFC discussed the scandal on his personal social media accounts, and McAfee has filed the charges accused in an interview with Adam Schefter this week.

Former NFL player Antonio Brown also placed emphasis on this situation.

“No one in these organizations asked us to comment,” Cornett said of the public figures and companies she nominated. “Most surprising, my personal contact information is illegally shared because it puts my personal safety at risk. Many notes sent even suggest that I will take my life.”

Barstool founder Dave Portnoy denied the accusation, saying, “We don't control the personal society of our employees. Anything they post is their own.”
