Maryland consistently favors the Democratic Party in presidential elections. The last Republican to win the state in a presidential election was George H.W. Bush, who won Maryland in 1988.

This trend is expected to continue into 2024.

When asked who they would vote for “if the election were held today,” 57% of Maryland voters were likely to choose Harris, while only a minority would choose Trump, according to the poll. It was 35%.

“There is a 95% chance that the survey results will contain a sampling error of +/- percentage points from the actual population distribution for the particular survey question,” the poll notes. A margin of 3.3% is shown. Probably Maryland voters.
